djR3Z
I have 8GB of 1600 DDR3 OCZ memory but OSX thinks its 667MHz DDR2. Is there any way I can fix this? Is it just in reporting issue and not affecting my system? Thanks guys Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/237048-system-thinks-memory-is-667-ddr2/ Share on other sites
drule
You can change it within SMBIOS plist file used by Chameleon. Just do a search for SMBIOS and Chameleon and look for the values and keys that relate to memory ... 3.14r2
...Is it just in reporting issue and not affecting my system...It is. As per above use SMBIOS.plist or try another boot loader. See the next post for more details. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/237048-system-thinks-memory-is-667-ddr2/#findComment-1582926 Share on other sites
