fink8
Anyone? Is anyone working on a DSDT for this? I have managed to get Snow Leopard installed. I haven't been able to get networking to function, my GeForce 7600 GTS wasn't recognized. It was a monumental task to find the right distribution to make it through the setup. Which distro did you use for a successful Snow Leopard install? My SX58J3 tracking says 'Out for Delivery'! fink8
I used the chameleon bootloader dvd, booted to I think the Vanilla 10.6.2 OSX disc, ran setup -v-x-f. I had a lot of issues getting all the way through the install but it finally made it. I was trying to run it in RAID as well so maybe that was some cause for issue. I managed to boot in, sound was working, USB wifi working, couldn't get the bootloader instaleld, my 7600 GTS was not recognized which was odd. I couldn't install #####. It would start but fail to complete. It's now sitting in my closet. Im hoping someone has a better process or puts together a distro or something. Otherwise I'm gonna put windows on it and give it to my brother I guess. Reboot QE/QI Video: Added Gigabyte 8400 GS device ID to S/L/E NVDANV50Hal.kext and NVDAResman.kext WIFI: Linksys WUSB54GC v1 with device ID updated in Ralink RT73USBWirelessDriver.kext Audio: Voodoo Sweet!
