OK, I'm starting this thread to have a comprehensive list of kernels vs Cores compatibility list. Here is what I know works. Please, add to this thread, and I'll edit the first post to maintain a nice and as complete as possible list. If possible, the format should follow mine. If not, I'll do my best to find the missing info and edit it for posting. Here is a start:

Vanilla:

Nehalem EP - vanilla 10.6.4 (?) - http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?codeName=33163

Lynnfield - vanilla 10.6.2 (?) http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?codeName=33164

Harpertown - vanilla 10.6.0 (?) compatible - http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?codeName=26555

Clovertown -  vanilla compatible 10.6.0 (?) - http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?codeName=23349

Wolfdale - vanilla 10.6.0 compatible - http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?codeName=24736

Woodcrest - vanilla 10.6.0 compatible - http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?codeName=22796

Other Kernels:

AMD Thuban - qoopz 10.6.3 tested OK (needs busration=25) / other kernels (?)

AMD Callisto - qoopz 10.6.3 tested OK (needs busratio=16) / other kernels (?)

AMD Barcelona - qoopz 10.6.3 tested OK / other kernels (?)

AMD Egypt - qoopz 10.6.3 tested OK / other kernels (?)

AMD Italy - qoopz 10.6.3 tested OK / other kernels (?)

What are you running, guys???

Please, contribute and make this list grow with your own findings. What are you running??? This is good info for anyone buying parts to build their own machine. I have included a (?) wherever I'm not sure about the info. Advise with the correct info. Lets make that list. I think this is very important. I've looked for a comprehensive kernel vs cores list everywhere online, and I couldn't find it. If anyone have a link that proves this list here to be redundant, please, just post, and I will let this thread die.
