Hey dudes.

I was able to install Kalyway 10.5.2(&combo update 10.5.3) as well as iAtkos v7, but I could not get the sound (ALC889) nor Wifi/ethernet/etc. (Intel 4965) to work on either of them.

I noticed the iPC installer had both of them loaded but when I installed iPC it would not get me pass the "Missing Keyboard" screen. Even though I tried with the keyboard driver/kext from the installer disk as well as plugging in an USB keyboard.

OS X would suck without sound or internet, so I was wondering if it was possible to combine a bit of files ? Does anyone know how to do it ? I'm no advanced user when it comes to this, but if anyone know if it might be possible I'm definitely up for trying.

Technically I only need the sound driver and Wifi from the iPC disk. Kalyway and iAtkos work alright themselves.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thank you in advance.

EDIT: Oh, and this is for my friends laptop. Don't mind my own specs, since OS X is irelevant and not possible for me.

You can install just the kext that you want. After you install iAtkos, boot off the iPC disk and when you are customizing the installation uncheck the iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Base System and then check the one kext that you wanted. It will be a super fast installation.

You can also hunt around on the iPC disk and find the installer for that one kext. It's icon will look like a cardboard box.
