mike200015
When i try to install OS X 10.4.6 the screen goes black. Not sure what the problem is. I tried deleting the partition and remaking it with Partition Magic 8.0. When i make the partition primary, then at the bottom of the little screen where you choose the size and stuff, it says "This partition starts beyond the 1024 cylinder boundary and will not be bootable." I dont know if this is the problem, but maybe. Anyone know what this message means or how to fix it?? horst.schlemmer
The Partition you want to install mac osx on must be a logical one and after installation you have to convert the partiton into a primary one Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/23476-partition-boundary-message/#findComment-155974 Share on other sites
mike200015
How do i make it primary after the installation? Also, if i make it logical, then it creates an extended partition around it ??.. so what do i do with the extended partition.
