Hi,

I had a great working sys on my HP Pavillion (See my signature). But my motherboard died IPIBL. As I could not get same one, I got GA-EP41-UD3L. I managed to get a running 10.6.3 SL 64 bit.

Oly thing I can not get to work again is my Nvidia Gt220. It only runs OK if I boot with -x -v and GraphicsEnabler=Yes. Card is recognized as it should be and everything works (QE, CI), but if I boot normal with GraphicsEnabler=Yes I get OSX to load, but it only flashes dark and bright blue, I can see cursor for a moment, but then it flashes again.

I have no other kexts than NVDANV50 and NVDANResman in my S/L/E. If I boot normally without GraphicsEnabler=Yes, then it boots OK, but screen resolution is only 1024x768 and card is not recognized in SysProfiler, but kexts are loaded (Extensions in Systemprofiler)

I have some dsdt.aml in Extra folder, but in that DSDT.aml is no PEGP section. As I do not know how to compile or to make right DSDT.aml or similar (I know how to copy, but not to edit) I hope there is someone that could help me... Or give me some easy to read what and why DSDT.aml id for...

I have uploaded my DSDT.aml, and I hope there is someone to help...

Greetings

Hi,

Have you tried this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=142434 for patching your dsdt.aml ?

B using this, you can define what kind of card you use...

Unfortunately I have no dual boot... Its only OSX machine... And CrossOver does not run this program... Do you have any other idea? Is there any generic code for GT 220 or must I get it from my config? I tried with someone's dsdt and it recognized Nvidia 9600... but that did not do the trick, but it showed like there is this card in my computer in system profiler...

I just do not get it... With IPIBL I did not used ans dsdt.aml... just NVDAN kexts and grpahicsenabler and it worked... With EP41-UD3L it doe not... Is it a BIOS?

cheers

That sounds for me, you have no other system like osx. Because you do'nt need a dual boot. I can be an other pc....

Ok. There is an DSDT Patcher under OSX and contains a lot of patches ... i think, for to GT2XX Series cards too. I've been use that for patching the wake functionality on EP41-UD3L:
