linuxeomboy
Same thing over here... :/ It's probably the kernel; and it happens with all the AMD kernels I tried... One thing I noticed is that iMovie only / mostly crashes when encoding h264... So if you export as mov or avi with quicktime, you get lucky sometimes if the video has not many edits Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/234274-ilife-crash-when-doing-an-action-with-photovideo-file/#findComment-1600066 Share on other sites
linuxeomboy
Actually! I just got iMovie to successfully encode a project! o/ I'm using one of the latest Qoopz + AnV kernels (check http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=221599 ) + dyld patch ( http://osx86.co/f36/qoopz-anv-xnu-10-4-0-rel4-t6491/ ) and then having the boot flags: -force64 arch=i386 so it boots in x86_64, 64 bit with support for 32 bit apps so far so good... some random crashes, but nothing crucial Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/234274-ilife-crash-when-doing-an-action-with-photovideo-file/#findComment-1600690 Share on other sites
