Hi, I'm trying to install OSX on my machine but the installer runs into a panic while initialising.

Hardware:

CPU: P4 1.7GHz

Mobo: Asus P4B-MX (chipset: Intel 845) link

Ram: 512mb (2 X 256mb) PC133 SDRAM

HD: 20gb Seagate on Primary PATA IDE Channel.

Video: Asus v9250 Magic/T (Ati 9250 chipset)

When the install hits the bootloader this is the only option I have:

hd(31,1) Mac OS X Install Disc x86

(startup volume)

Once I go through the debug mode, there is a screen where it loads a couple of things, then I get this screen and all the following text. Exactly as below:

I'm not sure what I can do from here.

I went into the bios and disabled every device not necessary: audio, lan, serial ports, parallel port.

I tried fiddling with other bios settings, but nothing made any difference.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, John
