x0nt Posted August 4, 2006 Share Posted August 4, 2006 Hi, I'm trying to install OSX on my machine but the installer runs into a panic while initialising. Hardware: CPU: P4 1.7GHz Mobo: Asus P4B-MX (chipset: Intel 845) link Ram: 512mb (2 X 256mb) PC133 SDRAM HD: 20gb Seagate on Primary PATA IDE Channel. Video: Asus v9250 Magic/T (Ati 9250 chipset) When the install hits the bootloader this is the only option I have: hd(31,1) Mac OS X Install Disc x86 (startup volume) Once I go through the debug mode, there is a screen where it loads a couple of things, then I get this screen and all the following text. I went into the bios and disabled every device not necessary: audio, lan, serial ports, parallel port. I tried fiddling with other bios settings, but nothing made any difference.
