Currently using iso listed as 10.4.6 Patch CD which contains two additional folders called "Maxxus_Patch_Solution_v1.0a" and "Maxxus_Patch_Solution_v1.0a_1045". Could someone tell me if I have the correct iso? I have read that the myzar ppf4 patch cd corrected this problem on some laptops but I can't find this iso. When booting from DVD I get "Still Waiting ..." error. When specifying the root device manually using rd=disk0s1, I get the following: . . Darwin Kernel Version 8.4.1 ...... .. . Could someone even tell me if I am getting ANY closer to getting my laptop to boot? Should I just dd an image to a partition, and if so, could someone give me a hint for the name of the iso or torrent I should be looking for?
