Hello!

My internet connection keeps dropping after 10-15 minutes or when I open some programs, after a little while. I recently changed my driver to nForceLAN, because before, it did it every 1-2 minutes.

Thanks for the help,

Go to System Preferences >>> Network >>> Advanced >>> Ethernet >>> Configure:Manually and MTU:Custom.........enter 1000 in the box and see if that improves things........

If reducing the MTU value has no beneficial effect, then try changing the OptimizationMode, which can be changed in the Info.plist file of the nForceLAN.kext from 0 (which optimizes throughtput activity) to 1 (which optimizes CPU activity).........setting the OptimizationMode to 1 may help........

1482 is the minimum. It doesn't change anything, anyways to put it to 1000.

I am actually trying the OptimizationMode

OptimizationMode removed the Ethernet interface from Network preferences in System Preferences.

I'm gonna fix permission. I think this is the problem

Okay i'm gonna try with your setting. Fixing permissions made the kext to load

It's not working :)

I found out that the connection usually drops when using Peer-to-peer. For example, when I'm using software such as uTorrent, WoW Updater (which is using P2P to increase the download speed), etc.

Maybe it could explain something :P.

Thanks,
