Karakino
Hello guys. I'm new to the osx86 world... First of all, i say that i leggaly bought an iMac-Intel and so i also have a legal copy of intel osx. But let's come to the real matter of the request: I know that on the net are floating around install dvds of osx86 that can work on normal pcs. What i want to know particularly is how i can make a similar install dvd starting with my personal legal copy of Os X for intel. Obviously if this is possible... Thanks. PS: i got Mac Os X in Italian Language. I think most osx86 out there are in english so, if all i have to do is to copy cracked files within files of my italian dvd, i'm thinking that conflicts between languages can occur... Please, enlighten me on how to do all this stuff... 1233666666
Legally you can't. The copy of OS X was bought with your iMac, for your iMac. (and for Apple branded computers) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/23053-howto-build-a-personalized-osx86-install-dvd-from-legal-copy/#findComment-154168 Share on other sites
CoolBits
Legally you can't. The copy of OS X was bought with your iMac, for your iMac. (and for Apple branded computers) Why not...you can customize a copy of your osx dvd as much as you want... you can add or remove software and apps from it....but if you use it on PC is a different story... bland
You're saying there is no legal way to build an OS X86 box? I don't think that's right. Karakino
My problem is this: i got the italian version of osx in italian the 10.4.6 jas version and 10.4.7 are obviously in english i would like to modify my original osx dvd to insert the italian language and have italian as the primary language so i don't have to modify nothing in the language and keyboard sections in the preference panel. I tried with jas, but it ended in screwing up some programs and some other minor things... So, if someone have an idea of what i want to do, and knows how to do it, please reply me back and i'll try the suggestions. Thanks. s_10onbagz
so if we were to do this in theory since it's illegal, where could we get the files needed to modify an original copy of osx into osx86?
