vcouture
Had the same problem with an AMD 1090T and Asus M4N78-Pro , you have to go into the bios and disable two settings: ACPI 2.0 Support ACPI APIC Support After rebooting it did stop on another thing: Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers But I got tired of waiting and hit the power button and then it started to continue loading up, weird.. Make sure you use these settings when you start up (Hit F8): -v cpus=1 busratio=16 arch=i386 That is working for me so far, I'm still in the process of installing right now (I'm looking at a rainbow wheel spinning) so I will let you know how it goes.
