davham
I just installed 10.4.3, and when I boot up I get an error message saying "Disk you inserted was not readable by this computer". In Disk Utility the disk shows up, but unmounted. When I click on mount, it says it can't and to try and repair it. When I click on first aid nothing happens. In the terminal the command mount /Volumes/disk0s1 (the disk name in utility) it says can't mount "unknown volume or file type", it's formatted as ntfs. the setup is channel 0 master windows xp channel 0 slave mac os x channel 1 master dvd channel 1 slave disk0s1 any thoughts? phoenix3200
I got it working here for some of my HDDs that wouldn't automount. If you go into Terminal and type diskutil list and it doesn't list the unmounted HDD as NTFS, the above thread can be your starting point. You might also make sure that your HDD has been named inside of Windows XP, and its name doesn't match another HDD's name.
