aircrash
So this isn't one I've seen. I recently installed 10.4.6 (JaS) and the results have been amazing. I tried doing a software update (for iTunes and iPhoto and whatnot), and it gave me a network error message when I tried to download the updates. I didn't think much of it. Then when I open safari, any apple.com related page gives a: Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23): / error message. Works okay in Camino. Then I tried watching some trailers in Quicktime... and everything I try to gives me an error message about not finding the URL. It seems as though anything related to WebCore won't open Apple related pages. Is anyone else having a problem like this? How do I fix it? Any ideas? Thanks in advance... -- Patrick Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22779-1046-jas-applecom-blocked/ Share on other sites
aircrash
Okay. So if anyone else has this issue: go into safari > preferences > security > show cookies > click remove all (or just the .apple.com cookies), close, and you should be set. Apparently there was a cookie set from the get-go that was set to expire in 4001, and since Safari determins all WebCore stuff (I guess), nothing worked right through Apple. Yeah. -- Patrick Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22779-1046-jas-applecom-blocked/#findComment-150905 Share on other sites
