boot cd dont contain id of ide controller so if you have no sata dvd

i will add it to boot cd and upaod it to you

if you use boot cd of me

no thing

just if your hdd formated gpt format partion you want

and cuztomize setting

remove printer driver and languge and install quicktime and x11 and rosetta

 

after set up you may tell you failed it is normal

just complete as i told you before

installation done, when i boot SL partition i get

then loop rebooting.

but here is the problem, strangely i can't boot the BootCD with my SATA DVD drive, i can only do it with my IDE. and when i do it with my IDE, i get the error still waiting for root device.

also, when i check CD in boot devices, it just boot on HDD. wtf man?

what did you use to set up

 

and follow guide as in topic

 

so

first trun sata to achi

use sata dvd to boot with bootcd

then eject it and out retial dvd 10.6.3

set up normal

then it will say failed

that is normal

trun of your pc

then

put boot cd to boot partion with verbose mode

if it work normal

contiue

if there problem take picture and upload it

i used iAtkos s3, and done nothing special more.

in "Options" at This screen(this is NOT my computer) i have added some kexts, like for wireless or other basics kexts.

then i installed it and voila.

ON ACHI some times after restart dvd drive not work

so you should shutdown pc and then power up it

or retail 10.6.3 dvd

you can get it to work

and download retial you wil need it
