gwlalonde Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 Hi. I got 10.4.6 up and running, but had to use the kernal form the install cd(sse2 i think) since the sse3 kernal gets a panic. raydon19283 Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 Same problem here my 4200+ X2 gets a panic when i install and now that i excluded the AMD SSE3 part it boots beautifully. Can i install something like maxxuss to emulate it and will it be as good since technially it should be able to handle SSE3 instructions? BTW THANX JAS and this fourm for helping a PC user (yes 5 of the higher end ones) convert 4 out of 5 to mac. you guys rock, and if i can get the game support through wine or darwin i will convert all my friends as well.
