nAPPLE
This is attempt using Hazard Leopard I couldn't boot the dvd normally so i added this boot command -v arch=i386 cpus=1 busratio=20 (also, there are no settings to change my hdd mode in the bios) Afterwards I was able to boot the dvd and install LS. However after the installation, when my laptop rebooted, i got the "power off and reboot" screen. So I typed in -v when booting and i got this kernel panic. JBraddock
iopcifamily.kext, to my knowledge, fixes some usb detection problems and IRQ conflict. Try to install with different options selected. Especially regarding the usb fixes. Good Luck, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/225624-help-kernal-panic-hp-dm3/#findComment-1514838 Share on other sites
