pclay Posted July 23, 2006 Share Posted July 23, 2006 I have installed the jas 10.4.6 image and on my first boot in verbose mode I get 6 or 7 lines of: "display: family specific matching fails" After researching the error message I run into a plethora of complex tutorials of patching, none of which match my hardware. What I cannot find is an explanation of what the error message means and how it applies to my hardware. My computer is a Dell e510. Pentium D 820 Dual Core (2.8Ghz) 2x 512MB Ram ATI X600 256MB PCIe Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
