HR19 Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 First off, I hope this is the right section for this. And yes, I used the search, but I couldn't really find the information I wanted. But in any event... I'm looking for a system I can hackintosh-ify for less than $500, and it's looking like the Dell Mini 10V or HP Mini 311 would be the best choice. Which is better, and why? Or is there another one that trumps them both? I'm leaning towards the 311, 'cause I think it looks a little nicer, and it has a better resolution, slightly larger screen, and higher RPM HDD (and for $25, I can upgrade the proc a little). Also, does anyone know: can I just go out and buy a SO-DIMM for the 311 and put it in, or was HP a jerk about that kind of thing and made it really difficult?
