xdanisx Posted July 3, 2010 Share Posted July 3, 2010 I'm at the Chameleon boot screen, I boot with verbose (why is it called verbose?), It loads all the kexts. Then it says, "Starting Darwin" (or something like that). My PC shuts off after that. Any help? Thanks. xdanisx Posted July 3, 2010 Author Share Posted July 3, 2010 Alright, it worked (sorta). My computer doesn't restart when I try to boot, but I don't get very far. None (or not many) of my kexts load (they all fail). Everything stalls at: ERROR:Firewire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full secure. It doesn't restart, it just stops at that line. Any help? I also get error messages when booting from AHCI. booting with RAID is fine though... Thanks. I'm going to try to disable firewire in my BIOS if I even have the option.
