edy_42
I install Jas 10.4.6 on VMware. At the end of the installation it asks me to reboot. So I reboot the Vmware virtual computer, and boot up on the DVD again. This just tries to reinstall Jas 10.4.6 again. So I reboot w/out the DVD and nothing happens. By reviewing the bootsector of the new filesystem created (used a hexeditor and skipped the first 63 sectors) I can see that the bootsector contains no bootloader. So I add chain0 to the bootsector, and still the boot fails. So, I realize the BootX is not on the disk either. What do I need to do to get this Mac installation to boot? Thansk for your help.
