10.5.4 Leo4Allv4 HELP! - 2 Issues!

Hey guys I think this is my first post so Hi

 

Recently I install Leo4Allv4 as it is the ONLY Distro to work on my DELL Inspiron 531 :/ Anyway I have three problems I need fixing and hoping you can help

 

1) Applications seem to just Quit Unexpectedly like Skype and Other Apps

 

2) I cannot for any reason get Quartz Extreme to be "Supported" on my 8600GT 256MB DUAL DVI and hence not being able to change resolutions :/

 

3) How the hell can I upgrade to 10.5.8 Easily on leo4All as there is no upgrade kit :/
