Plese help - .dmg file extention....

hiiiiiiii all.. ,

 

my pc config is(abt 3 yrs old):

CPU-intel pentium4 HT 3.0GHz

RAM-1 GB DDR2 667MHZ

MB- BIOSTAR intel 945 GZ chipset 775 se

HDD-Hitachi+Samsung 106 & 500 GB respectively

 

i have posted earlier also in other section of dis forum...

i got some reply and downloaded the 10.6.4 version whose size is 607 MB and the file is of .dmg extension..

please someone tell how will i burn the disk...???

i m using win xp/7 now but wanna use mac since last 3 yrs but i cant...

plesase tell me the details that i will i do the partitions and how do i will be able boot the cd after burning it(i don't know how to burn it) and so that i can use mac according to my pc config....

if i have downloaded the wrong one then please give me the download source of the correct one...
