Thain Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 I have a Dell Inspiron 530s that I installed iAtkos v7 on (10.5.7). I have the GMA 3100 chipset. (yes, I know, it doesn't work) however, there has got to be a way to change the refresh rate of the screen to something other than 60hz. (why 60hz scan rate is still supported is beyond me, monitors have gone way beyond that 15 years ago) I have tried setting it at boot, which only makes the machine reboot. and I have tried editing com.apple.boot.plist, which does absolutely nothing. I also tried SwitchResX, which does absolutely nothing but gives false hope. I have had OSX on this machine before with a decent refresh rate, so I know it will do it. Also, why in the *&$%#$ isn't there a way to delete my own posts???
