daksh_jay Posted June 21, 2010 Share Posted June 21, 2010 iv got chameleon rc3 because rc4 gives k.p. whenever i let the counter down n boot it into leopard partition, the comp auto-restarts after just one sec of the apple logo. there is this unusual workaround that if and only if i boot in verbose, will the comp boot into os x. i dont know what to do to fix it. also, iv disabled safe sleep by this : sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0 please help! thanks! daksh_jay Posted June 25, 2010 Author Share Posted June 25, 2010 ok..easy fix...this is generally referred to as a chameleon reboot loop...fix is to repatch dsdt.aml using dsdt patcher gui..with HPET and force UNCHECKED..
