Echnaton Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 Hi, after 3 hours searching in the forum , i write my problem i have an external USB HD First Partition is an NTFS with Data for Win...should be untouched (60 GB) second Partition should be an HFS+ for backup (using ccc or something else) I use Acronis to create the second partition as logical FAT32. I try to use Disk Utility under mac os x to format this partition as HFS+ Journaled I get a "can't write to Partitiontable" and both partition are corrupt. i can save the first partition with a partitionrecovertool. any suggestions? The solution is t Format the second partition as primary FAT32 not as logical Fat32 Now it works fine Thx @interinv in IRC for the corrrect hint.
