kpdus
Hi, Does anyone experience this as well? Following the forum discussion about supported wireless cards I bought HP Pavilion ZV5000 ZX5000 Mini PCI 54G Wireless G Card with Broadcom chipset and installed it into my Toshiba laptop (instead of existing one). After adding 14e4,4320 to Info.plist in IO80211Family.kext folder with Broadcom driver, the system recognized the card, but right after failed attempt to load AppleAirPort2.kext (presumably because it's PPC-only binary), the system panics in Broadcom driver (reason = page fault). OS is 10.4.6, I've tried IONetworkingFamily, IOPCIFamily, IO80211Family kexts from 10.4.1, 10.4.5, 10.4.6 with the same outcome. Does anyone else have this problem? Is OS supposed to (attempt to) load AppleAirPort2 kext at all? What did you do _exactly_ on stock 10.4.6 to make your Broadcom BCM 4306 work? Thanks!
