Cdnalsi
Hi! First post here! Love the site, installed OS X 10.4.6 (JaS patched DVD) on my Intel PC, everything went okay, I even got the dual boot with Windows, but now I have a serious and weird problem: My connection is an ADSL line through a Thomson SpeedTouch 330 modem. I managed to install its OSX drivers from the CD, even got an update for OS X 10.4.x from the website (www.speedtouch.com). The drivers installed okay, but now, when I plug the modem into the USB slot, it's not recognized. Actually, it does nothing. It doesn't start. The manual says it has to find a new networking port when I plug in the modem... Please don't tell me there's no USB support for this OSX If anyone has succesfully installed such a device, or maybe has some ideas, please help me out... Thanks, and cheers! Cdnalsi
I hate to double-post but, I've just installed 10.4.7 Update, but still haven't got any results... Can't really anyone think of anything?? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22079-weird-usb-issue/#findComment-147143 Share on other sites
packagefixer
What I have been told is that the USB drivers are incomplete on the 10.4.4 and 10.4.6 Install DVD's, someone suggested that the 10.4.3 USB drivers works however I didn't use these install DVD's so I don't have this issue.
