Space butler
I've tried a number of .kext - related solutions I found on the boards, but nothing has had any effect. I'm on a Toshiba Satellite laptop, and I'm almost certain my sound is AC97. I'm totally lost here. I've been typing stuff into the terminal based on topics here, but I have no idea what any of it does. Just shooting in the dark. Just give me an idea where to start. Thanks in advance. Space butler
More information: My card is a SoundMax Digital Audio. As far as I can tell, this is definitely AC97. Vendor: 8086 Developer: 25C5 I tried editing the audio kext file, putting in those two numbers in both orders, as follows: 0x808625C5 0x25C58086 Unless I misinterpreted the instructions, I think I did everything carefully and properly. Where am I going wrong? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21966-no-audio-output-devices-found-please-help/#findComment-145222 Share on other sites
