amorrelle Posted May 17, 2010 Share Posted May 17, 2010 So I bought the MP2W from HWtools and a macbook mini pcie card a few days ago. I plugged in the card, plugged in the USB cable, put the MP2W into the first pci-e x1 slot and nothing. The light comes on in the back of the mp2w but I don't get anything. Windows cant see it either. Any suggestions? Do these mp2w's sometimes arrive DOA or is it the Macbook card? Or is there another step I am missing? Thanks! amorrelle Posted June 2, 2010 Author Share Posted June 2, 2010 OK, for anyone else having a problem - the adapter comes with a very small piece of plastic wrapped around the pci-e connector - remove it and your good to go.
