seanbperiod
I was wondering if VMWare or Virtual PC are able to boot an OS on another partition? if so, could this be done with OSX86? I'm interested in the same question though. I'd really like to know of any way to boot Windows XP virtually within OSX86. I have Win XP on another drive... oh how I would like to use both at once... macgirl
Yes, VMWare can use Physical Drive, Entire Disk or Partition. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2186-osx86-on-vmware-in-windows/#findComment-14333 Share on other sites
seanbperiod
ok, so the next question is.. will vmware recognize the mac partition in windows? and does virtual pc have a physical drive option to run windows native in mac? macgirl
Not only VMWare recognizes the Mac Partition, Windows also recgnize the partition, another thing is that windows car read the partition. AFAIK VPC can't handle Physical Drives. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2186-osx86-on-vmware-in-windows/#findComment-14703 Share on other sites
