dasein Posted May 7, 2010 Share Posted May 7, 2010 Hey everyone! I finally got 10.6.2 to be mostly booting. I have a Gigabyte ex58-ud3r and I had to change my dsdt.aml before i could get 10.6.2 to boot and not kp during boot. Now I see the computer getting to the desktop and all the icons load and the SL just kp's right away with different processes. Any ideas what might be causing the problem? Thanks! dasein Posted May 7, 2010 Author Share Posted May 7, 2010 Just to add more detail. The top of the screen reads Kernel Panic: kernel trap type 14=page fault. And it always seems to hang on a different process.
