Divine E
Alright guys, I have MAJORLY screwed my PC up, and I need it. Basically I was installing the iDeneb OSx86 Leopard disc on my Dell inspiron 531 PC running on Windows 7. I was installing it on a 2nd disc partition I made for OS X Leopard. Well, after trying to install OS X leopard, I turned on my PC, and got some sort of error message. The only way I could get it to start correctly was to insert the Windows 7 disc. After getting it started again, I went to my Drive manager, and deleted the data on the Leopard partition hoping to restore my PC's boot back to normal. I also changed the partition to inactive. Now when I try to start my PC, it wont start. It just goes to a black screen with white letters saying "boot0: error" and that's it. I no longer want to use Leopard on this PC, as I do not need it. Please help me restore my PC back to the original state it was in. * To create room for the OS X I deleted the Windows Recovery Partition. * The disc I used last time to fix it, I currently have let a friend use. * I made a copy of the disc on the friend's PC, but when I inserted this disc, I got an error of some sort. Anindya
first set the mac partition as the primary partition..then check if it boots normally...then repair the windows installation...after that using easy bcd add os x to win bootloader...In c drive in the NST folder replace the .mbr with tboot s one.. Sonota
Well, since you deleted System Reserved, you're probably going to get a BOOTMGR error, and you won't find your OS in the recovery CD options.. Since you wouldn't even be able to boot into Windows 7 if you fix the Boot0:error, your best bet is to reinstall Windows 7. I deleted System Reserved and had to reinstall, it's no big deal as long as you don't format the Windows 7 partition (if you want your data).. But it's worth a try to see if you see the OS on the Windows 7 Recovery DVD.

DONT DO ANYTHING OTHRS SAY! I HAD THIS PROBLEM AND I SOLVED THIS! BOOT MAC OSX , then from utilities go to terminal TYPE diskutil list THEN fdisk -e /dev/disk0 THEN (note: we used the 1st command to see the no. of drive OR PARTITION nUMBER oN which xp is installed, see it NOW) THEN f n (n means the no. of the drive/partition) THEN write THEN y if option comes THEN exit ! THIS WILL SURELY WORK
