Hello,

 

I've a problem with my Snow Leopard installation. After the update from 10.6.1 to 10.6.2 I got Kernel Panics after the start, I decided to restore a image. The restoration works fine, after this I wanted to boot the system and get only this error "boot0 : error".

 

I have seen that many other people had the same problem and activated the System Partition with terminal, but this solution don't work for me. Is there an easy way to restore the chameleon bootloader, or is it easier to reinstall the system?

What was your install method?

 

Don't you have a DVD with a bootloader that can boot OS X?

 

If not, try looking for a GA-EP45-UD3LR Boot-132 CD or USB stick image. It's a popular Hackintosh platform so your chances are good. If you can find the right files you should be able to put together a Chameleon USB stick from Linux or Windows, there are guides available.
