Phantom Thief Dark Mousy Posted April 15, 2010 Share Posted April 15, 2010 Hello all, I managed to get Snow Leopard to run on my desktop (see specs in sig). It works great, but there are several issues that I cant seem to get around: 1. To boot up successfully I have to boot up in single user mode and manually mount the partition. 2. The sound is not working 100% and I am lost in finding a solution for it. 3. I would like to try to make a DSDT file for it but I am really lost and dont want to screw up.... Phantom Thief Dark Mousy Posted April 15, 2010 Author Share Posted April 15, 2010 Well I'm almost positive that using a kernel from a lower OS (ie 9.7.0) in place of a newer one (10.3.0). Plus I have to have 64-bit mode in Snow Leopard so Voodoo kernel may be out of question.
