Roswell_r
I recently brought 4x 1TB drives only to find out my onboard raid & osx software raid will not function under RAID5. I have found this hardware raid controller on newegg which is of decent price and appears to be supported by OSX according to drivers on highpoint's website. http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx...n82e16816115029 Anyone know if this is definately supported for snow leo? Thanks in advance. I dont care if its not supported for boot/os installs I only want to use the RAID array both in OSX and Windows. fies76
i'm using one, it works, but it isn't really fast (only about 110MB/s) you can boot from it and it is still faster than one single hdd Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/215421-highpoint-rocket-raid-2300-pci-e-raid-controller/#findComment-1449554 Share on other sites
