eLhomer0
Hello, I just completed installation of iPC 10.5.6 to my PC. Sound does not work and there is some problem with my graphic chip and I cannot eject my DVD drive by pushing button on it (I have to use Eject button in the OS) but I will fix this later. The biggest problem I have is booting. I have a WD 250GB hard drive split in two partitions. First partition is for Win7 and on the second one is MacOSx86 iPC 10.5.6. When I power my PC on without iPC installation DVD, I get this error: "boot0: error" (picture is added as attachment). The I tried to put the iPC installation DVD to my DVD drive and it worked. I have to wait 8 seconds (Please click on something for boot from DVD or click on F8 for more..) and then it started to load Mac OS. How can I fix this error, if I also want to enable dual boot (Win7/Mac OS)? Thank you and sorry for my bad english, I am not native speaker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/215327-ipc-1056-boot0-error/ Share on other sites

ssdcommander
extract this, then burn it to a disk, then boot from it. now this worked for me, so if it doesnt, this can be used to boot windows. select the one that looks like a hard drive, if there isnt one, then you can boot to windows untill you can get it fixed, but if there is then select it and press enter. then exit boot error should go away http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QW3F8DWN Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/215327-ipc-1056-boot0-error/#findComment-1446766 Share on other sites
Beerkex'd
I cannot eject my DVD drive by pushing button on it (I have to use Eject button in the OS). This is normal, a real Mac doesn't have an eject button. There is nothing to fix. As for your other problem, you need to install a bootloader, such as Chameleon 2.0.
