Hey,

I have recently purchased an Acer Aspire One ao532h.

- Atom n450 1.6ghz processor

What is the best version of osx86 and method to try installing osx86 on my netbook?

Or am I best to just try following the instructions used to install on another netbook with the same processor?

Thanks in advance, Luke

I have the same netbook i tried to use mechdrew's guide cause i did that with a friends older acer aspire one but it failed to work if you want to try the site is (http://osx.mechdrew.com/guides/).

I just recently updated the BIOS to 1.21 it was at 1.02 and i haven't tried it again.. ill try it later tonight and ill let you know how it goes.

so the BIOS im guessing is not the problem, I used an external dvd drive with a copy of idenb 1.5.1 and i did get it to install but the mouse pad was inactive and the number 7 key was on constantly and the rest of the keyboard was inactive so i could never get passed the pass word screen. after that i uninstaled it and tried to reinstall it but the kernel panicked so i have gave up on that and the retail version is still giving me a cannot find mach_kernel error. i will continue to try different things. they have it working on the AO531 which the only difference between that and the AO532 is that the 532 has the N450 and the 531 has the n270 atom processor. I will continue to work on it and let every one know if i find a way to get it working.
