There are two things to consider :

1) The inner case has to be used with the door from the same case because of the opening system; the latch activates 4 entries points for the MacPro case and three for the G5 case.

2) The back pannel from one case cannot be attached to the separating panel, which supports the DVD drive and the HDD's in the G5 case and the DVD drives and the PSU in the MacPro case. But both back panels from each case can be attached at the sides, because the holes are at the same level.

If you check page 2 and 3 from My Hackintosh you will see pictures from G5 case with original outer case and Mac Pro case without feet, that I will insert in an outer G5 case . My pleasure to help you; I have been there, I bought four cases, 3 G5's and one Mac Pro. I used some parts from one case to repair or complete the other.

I've got this G5 case from ebay and used the outer case to insert my Macpro LCS inner case .Was not easy, has to take out some screws on the outer case and add some holes on the inner case.

Did you succeed ?

Totally taking apart a g5 case is a HUUUUUUUUGGGGEE pain!! when i saw the 40+ screws in very tight and awkward locations, and after losing some skin on my knuckles i put the first nut back on.

Its a royal PAIN!

You must be very very cool, well organized and take the time needed to get to the end of the process, but it is doable. Lucky enough thank to CZ*DarkLight's "how to" in the sticky thread I could manage it . But dissamble a Macpro case is worst, because you have to unscrew some rivets.
