xxsashixx
So I fixed my HPET, no need the null Kext Fixed my RTC Dual GFX (9800GT and 9600GSO) via EFI Currently I have - LegacyHDA (for 889a) EvoReboot FakeSMC PlatformUUID JMicron (For cosmetic issue, shows up as Unknown in Sys Profiler) Now the only thing that doesn't work, is my power button to sleep and sleep itself.. Can someone please look over my DSDT file to see what I'm doing wrong? Also whoever helps me, mind just going over the DSDT file itself to see if everything is correct? Thanks a bunch! http://www.sendspace.com/file/c0z99s Edit: MB is GA-X48-DQ6 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214080-dsdt-help/ Share on other sites

oldnapalm
What CPU do you have? Looks like you missed some things in the "Generic Scope (_PR)" http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=181631 Why did you patch dev ID of PX43? You may need to patch dev ID of PX40 (0x001F0000) to have AppleLPC loaded. What happens when you try to sleep? xxsashixx
PX43 is SBus no? oldnapalm
Yes, that's it. Check the attached file, I made some other changes according to the "Generic Scope (_PR)" topic. Remove code from CPUs 2 and 3 if your CPU has only 2 cores. dsdt.dsl.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214080-dsdt-help/#findComment-1437818 Share on other sites
xxsashixx
Nope, sleep still turns everything off except for the power itself. Also power button still doesn't sleep the computer. Q6600 is my CPU btw Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214080-dsdt-help/#findComment-1437892 Share on other sites
oldnapalm
Then I have no idea. My mobo has the same ICH9R chipset and sleep works with the patches you are using. Did you check if errata for USB devices is no longer 0 after the patch? And if power management is working properly? oldnapalm
It was just a suggestion, if you fix SpeedStep in DSDT you may want to test if it's working, don't you? oldnapalm
Don't worry, no problem. I was talking about the last post... A quick update. I saw a post about enabling "Start up automatically after a power failure" to get sleep working. I did and it works. My x48-dq6 sleeps and wakes up!!! Have you tried that? oldnapalm
You mean after patching PX40? Please NOTE: AppleLPC.kext will give you the 'Automatic restart after power failure' option in power savings. This option needs to be checked for sleep! Anyway I have no idea what's wrong there, I use the same patches in my mobo and sleep works fine, even with that option disabled. Hope you manage to fix that, maybe someone else can help you. Regards.
