Long-time poster, finally with a serious issue of my own. My trusty Acer Extensa 5620 has served me well (GM965 / X3100 chipset) and various upgrades worked out wonderfully. Lately, though, I'm running into a random crash issue I can't diagnose very well.

It -appears- to be linked to when I download torrents. Initially I blamed it on UTorrent, but Transmission is doing it too (though less frequently). It doesn't seem to be the app itself, really, so I'm assuming either the disk driver or the network driver are causing it. The miserable part of it is I can't find ANYTHING in the console (another reason I wonder if it's the disk driver, because nothing gets written about it). Everything's going fine, I'm happily using my laptop, and boom, "Please Restart This Computer."

Can anyone think of a way to diagnosis this I haven't tried? As I said, Console shows nothing, and the only thing that seems to trigger it is increased network traffic and/or increased hd activity. I use a Dell 1505 802.11n wifi card, rebranded as genuine Apple vendor. I use a retail OSX install via Chameleon RC4, with all stock drivers save PS2 mouse / keyboard, ALC268 sound, AppleACPIBattery, and fakesmc. Any help will be very much appreciated!
