michael77 Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 I've already tried Leo4all and iATKOS v7. Leo4all, loads the HFS+ files than it just restarts tried all the boot options. IATKOS V7, Gets kernel panics doesn't load any files. and kalyways 10.5.2 (ages ago) just gets the infamous, waiting for root device My computer specs, Amd phenom II x4 Black edition 965 3.4ghz Ram: 4gb, 2x 2gb Kingston 1600mhz DDR3 Motherboard: GA-MA770T-UD3P GPU: Saphire Vapor Radeon HD 5750 1gb of DDR5 DX11 support HD1: Seagate barracuda, 1TB 7200rpm sata HD2: Western Digital, 320GB 7200rpm sata Optical drive: ATAPI IHAS324 Please help me find the best distro? or get around theses problems with iATKOS or LEO4ALL Updated: i burned them both at 1x speed and checksumed them before i burned it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/212554-help-whats-the-best-distro-for-my-new-comp/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

The lite version isn't as feature rich with drivers and all, so I guess you're stuck with the older version.
