RoyV
Hi Guys, I know I'm not the first one to start a post about this but I can't seem to get it working correctly... I have Kalyway installed and it's running rather stable. No freezes, no rebooting issues. Sound works but graphics and network are really a pain in the b** Most annoying is the network however. I have the network cable connected, it get's the IP address, I can surf for a few minutes and ***plof*** network is out. After a few releases I get a local IP (169.something) and no way to reconnect unless reboot?? WIFI is even worse. 1 in 10 times it gets recognized by leopard and also connects to the AP. So far, so good but when I try to configure it in network prefs, it just won't connect. It keeps on giving a local IP. I do setup the wifi as a normal ethernet link and not as a wifi connection in the prefs. (I guess this should be done because the connection to wifi is handled by the ralink util) Anyone an idea? It would already be nice if I could get one of those problems solved. P.S. connection mode is DHCP Thanks with a big T ;-) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/211306-network-trouble-both-wired-and-wireless/ Share on other sites
