Acidic Posted February 19, 2010 Share Posted February 19, 2010 Hello all, I have this setup: ASUS P5W DH Deluxe EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB SATA 3.0 gb/s< And for the longest time in order to boot on windows xp ive had to go into the bios everytime and switch it. Just wondering if anyone knows a way that i would beable to boot xp wihout changing settings, and beable to have it be recognized by chameleon. thanks! oldnapalm Posted February 20, 2010 Share Posted February 20, 2010 I understand you have 2 HDs, one with Windows XP and other with Mac OS X, right? It may have been fixed in latest Chameleon versions, but last time I tried to do that I found that Windows XP only boots if it's in the device selected to boot in BIOS, so the only way was creating a small partition in the Windows HD to install Chameleon and set this HD as the boot device in BIOS.
