Hi. I was thinking if any developers would be interested in developing/porting drivers for OSX86 for specific chipsets and peripherals.

I have many motherboards and processors combos that uses the AMD 8111 and 8131 chipsets with the Sil 3114 SATA chip, and I can just run those systems with GenericATA driver on IDE, which is really SLOW.

So, as I have many of these motherboards, I though it would be worth paying someone to port drivers from BSD or LINUX so that I can run OSX86 on those motherboards.

Would anyone be interested? Let me know your price...

Thanks!

I just updated ApplePCIIDE.kext to work with Sil 3114.

Though it recognizes port 0 & 1 only (supporting port 2 & 3 is not so simple), you can use it if you don't have more than 2 drives.

It's free.
