The installation went smooth, but during the system boot I get a kernel panic can't load kext com.jmicron.jmicronata Couldn't allocate class JMicronATAPCIRoot Thank you for any help! StarkIndustries Posted February 10, 2010 Share Posted February 10, 2010 are you doing a retail install, or a distro install like hazard. You probably need to get this kext. gektor Posted February 10, 2010 Author Share Posted February 10, 2010 I tried to install SnowOSX 3.6 and did cd / sh MakeDSDT osx before the installation. How may I install a kext when the system isn't able to boot up? May be this is because I havn't changed the ACPI Power to S3?
