well it doesn't really matter if it is either leopard or snow leopard i just want most of the features to work (the main ones)

Intel core 2 duo T6600 2.2GHz (know this works)

I suggest looking up your Sony Vaio's specific serial number and finding the actual technical specifications. If you want people to help, they need to know exactly what you're working with. Sounds similar if not the same as my NW11S

Good luck trying to get QE/CI on your 4570 I managed to install 10.5.7 but it wasn't very usable without the right kexts.
