Gutshawt
Im running iDeneb 10.5.7 and I'm having trouble connecting to shared computers in my home. I can see the shared volumes but when I try to connect it says connection failed. I know they are fine because on my Macbook pro I'm able to connect to my hackintosh and the other computers no problem. On my hackintosh, I can share my files and computers connect to it, but I cannot connect to others.. though I can see the shared volumes. Any ideas? Is this just a settings issue? Also when i click "connect as" nothing pops Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/209433-cant-connect-to-shared-computers/ Share on other sites
drule
I believe your problem has something to do with your network not being set as "en0". Open up all the "Network" preference panes in each Hackint0sh and make sure your Ethernet connections are identified as "en0", not "en1" or "en2". Of course it may also be your network cards not being identified properly, but since we don't know what system components you have ....
