allowen
I tried to replace all the } by ( according to the errors log, but still no way to compile. After all was replaced, I had newer errors that i corrected (replaced by what was expected) after 12 recompiling (and 12 sets of new errors) I still end with this one : /Library/DSDT/DSDTFiles/dsdt.dsl 12049: [*** iASL: Read error on source code temp file /Library/DSDT/DSDTFiles/dsdt.src ***] Error 4095 - ^ syntax error, unexpected $end Please help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/209070-cant-install-snow-need-dsdt/#findComment-1397013 Share on other sites
jannes3000
Hi, I'm also running Snow Leo on a Phenom and I'm using the attached DSDT.aml ... I don't know if it is helpful, but I hope so . allowen
Thanks, but I think that this one is for your motherboard, not mine, but I'll give it a try. If someone could help me understanding these errors... I could then correct them myself Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/209070-cant-install-snow-need-dsdt/#findComment-1397058 Share on other sites
jannes3000
Thanks, but I think that this one is for your motherboard, not mine, but I'll give it a try. If someone could help me understanding these errors... I could then correct them myself I didn't download it especially for my Motherboard... the same DSDT worked on my "test-board" by Foxconn aswell. I put it into: /Extra/ , aswell as the com.apple.Boot.plist , the Extensions folder & mkext and the smbios.plist Since I started "hacking" with Snow Leopard I'm not sure how it was done in Leopard, but maybe there are some differences. I did the following: Cameleon Bootloader RC4 / EFI Studio / Vanilla Kernel / DSDT.aml / kext/mkext with Kext Utility ... thats pretty much all the stuff I used. But yeah the same snowleo start-harddisk I created, isn't working with my old AM2+ MSI mainboard so i guess maybe its up to your motherboard. allowen
Just tried to run the installer and.... It works thanks a lot for this file, i did not try to install the system because i've got some work to do tonight, but I got prety much time on tomorrow for this. before installing, I'll try to adapt this file to make most of my hardware run with it (lan, sound, and maybe gfx) I'm really glad I've got now new things to fix coming (one click install is not fun to me) but I would have also appreciated understanding why this damn dsdt.dsl did not compile. So, for my personnal knowledge, if someone could help me understanding this thing, I'd be really grateful.
