mikeyylolz
Hey guys, I installed the Intel GMA x3100 driver which was meant for my x4500 edition. It works as far as remove my limits to of resolutions and allows me to have a resolution of 1440x900. I have searched the forums for a whole day now and have tried different drivers and a DSDT.AML file (I believe to only work for 64 bit versions after looking at the verbose when I noticed my laptop didn't load with it.) The only problem I have with this driver is that it has black lines or something which breaks up letters and images, makes it very hard to read, after setting my laptop to a resolution above 800x600, I believe? Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/208905-intel-gma-x4500-driver-question/ Share on other sites

mikeyylolz
It was the boot file dsdt.aml, not a kext. I believe it was for Snow Leopard, instead of Leopard.
